11-8-2007, from PLC:   Refused The Pill On Religious Grounds

   “A Wimblebury woman has spoken of her shock and anger at being refused the morning after pill because of a pharmacist’s religious beliefs. Sarah Luke, 26, was stunned last Thursday when she and husband Simon approached Lloyds Pharmacy, Station Road, Hednesford, for the emergency contraceptive. After waiting for over 40 minutes, staff told the couple the pill would not be dispensed because the locum chemist on duty refused on moral grounds.”

Bravo! As physician and leader of EPLD - European Pro-Life Doctors, I have responsed to the local press and to Llodys Pharmacy in Hednesford to sustain this corrageous pharmacist.

  • I am calling all pharmacists and physicians to refuse the pill after!
  • let us sustain such corrageous (and Christian) pharmacists all over the world!
  • Let us found “Pharmacists for Life” in Europe too! more
