EPLD supports the following Belgian initiative:

First European anti-abortion day in Belgium

Call to create the first European day against abortion on July 25, 2006. - Support this initiative and join the support committee

The collective “Dad, Mom and Me”, created in Brussels in 2004, is an organisation which aims at being vigilant against all attacks against Family. It also aims at establishing connections within the European associative network for the defence of Family.

Thus, we could not remain insensitive to the question of the abortion.

The collective “Dad, Mom and Me” projects making July 25 the European Day against abortion.

Why July 25? Because it is the date of the publication of the Humanae Vitae Encyclical of Pope Paul VI, a particularly enlighting pontifical document on this subject.

In practice, the collective “Dad, Mom and Me” wishes, with the assistance of numerous pro-life organisations across Europe, to organize on July 25, 2006, in every European country, various events aiming at denouncing abortion and at promoting Life.

“Dad, Mom and Me” thus does not wish to head the very rich European pro-life associative landscape. We simply wish to bring in the benefit of convergent actions which will give the pro-life message a wider audience.

This initiative has already awoken the interest of many associations.

In order to quickly give to this initiative the necessary impulse, we are creating a support committee which we hope it will please you to join.

To enter this committee, it is enough to send to us a message of support for the European Day against abortion and to specify clearly your name, your function and your country.

Who can join in?

Members of the clergy, pro-life associations and their persons in charge, members of the medical sector, all members of the Magistracy, members of the academic, diplomatic, economic, artistic, sporting sectors who share a concern for the respect of Life.

Help us to make of this European Day against abortion a true success of mobilisation for Life !
