Welcome on the website of EPLD-medical pro-life association!

Dear visitor, dear medical colleague,

  1.   EPLD goals are:

• To protect human life and dignity
• to defend the human right for life
• provide access to European prolife news
• Contribute to the development of a strong prolife movement amongst European physicians.
• Collaborate with all pro-life movements, politicians, and churches in Europe.

The range of topics of concern to prolife physicians is large and growing. The traditional prolife stands against abortion and euthanasia must now be broadened to include opposition to in vitro fertilisation, in utero genetic testing, and organ-harvest before the time of death. The ‘prolife voice’ must be heard as governments decide how to regulate these and other reproductive and medical practises.

For us to make this voice heard, though, we need your support. We welcome the involvement of all interested physicians to help to establish national and regional chapters of EPLD through wich we can pursue these goals more effectively.

2.          Why "Euro-Pro-Life-Doctors"?

- Only in a few european countries are existing national medical pro-life-associations,

- some of them seems to be passive in their region or are not active in European pro-life materia.

- EPLD intends to found or to reactivate national sections of Pro-Life-Doctors Associations in each European country;

- The EPLD-association follows and enlarges the way of the well-known medical Pro-Life personalities;

- EPLD wants to be active at a European, national and regional level.

- to support and to collaborate with the other prolife-associations (+ politics, christian churches) in Europe,

- to be in a good contact with all his members and other pro-life colleagues (also only by e-mail)

- to react immediatly in case of emergeny / difficulty,

- to establish a common and special prolife-strategy

- to live and to work with the attitude of: “Ora et labora - and give testimony as (Christian) physicians.”
