EPLD medical association presents some informations about the consequenzes of prenatal diagnosis:
Baby defies doctors who said he'd be deformed
When Amy Brankin found out she was pregnant with her first baby, her joy soon turned to despair. Doctors said the foetus had a rare condition that would leave it so badly deformed it was likely to die before birth. Against their advice, Miss Brankin continued the pregnancy. And parading 15-month-old Harry yesterday, she warned other mothers to be wary of diagnoses.
UK LifeLeague says: How many lives have been destroyed on the advice of doctors. Of course just because a child has a deformity that can be no reason to have the child murdered for convenience sake. Suggestion of such implies that the disabled are of less value, and as such should have more in common with Nazi eugenics than modern British medicine. Sadly these days they are running a similar rationale.
